If you have rough or textured skin, this lotion will help to exfoliate while it hydrates. I often use this in the morning and a heavier hydrating cream at night.
Although this is labeled as a body cream, this rich moisturizer is fantastic as a night cream. You get a ton of product for the price and the ingredients are wonderful for the face and body. It’s a rich cream that will leave your skin super soft with regular use.
Bliss Pro Liquid Exfoliant contains both AHA and BHA acids to give a professional quality exfoliation at home. Apply in the morning if you use tretinoin or retinol at night, allow to sit on skin for 2 minutes and rinse with cool water. Follow with your normal skincare and top with sunscreen!
This gentle exfoliator uses enzymes to give the skin a smooth glow instead of harsh acids. Great for sensitive skin or on the nights your skin needs a break from your regular acid exfoliant. Enzymes work great to get those flakey bits of dry skin off without being abrasive.
Dermaplaning is one of the best things I started doing for my skin. It removes unwanted hair and creates a smooth canvas that allows skincare products to penetrate better into the skin. I prefer to use a straight razor for dermaplaning, but for those who aren’t comfortable with a stratight razor, this is an excellent option.
Hydration & SPF 50 in one gentle formula. This is a really great chemical sunscreen that’s cost effective and wears nicely under makeup. For a mineral sunscreen try the CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen. They have both a tinted and untinted formula. See below.
My absolute favorite cleansing balm to remove makeup and sunscreen at night. I follow this step with a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil Cream to Foam Cleanser or the CeraVe Cream to Foam Cleanser. This is truly better than any high end balm I’ve used, including Elemis.
Beautifully hydrating this mineral sunscreen rivals the high end tinted sunscreens I’ve used. I always have this on hand. It goes on smooth and absorbs nicely. If you have oily skin this may be too hydrating for you.
This product line is new to me, but so far I’m very impressed at the quality ingredients and well thought out formulation. Combination products like this allow you to simplify your skincare routine. Antioxidant vitamin C plus nourishing moisturizer!
Great for normal to dry skin. Gentle, hydrating and leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
Excellent for normal to oily skin, however I use this on my dry skin twice a week at night as a pore deep clean. Salicylic acid is oil soluble and does a great job of cleaning out pores. Great for acne prone skin.
This is very similar to the CeraVe Cream to Foam Cleanser. Lately I’ve bee using the Cetaphil a bit more, but they are both wonderful, hydrating, and leave the skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Great for all skin types, especially normal to dry. Won’t strip the skin.
Wonderfully hydrating and smoothing with squalane & marine algae to tighten delicate under eye skin. I love this one for daytime use under makeup.
Contains bakuchiol which acts very much like retinol without the irritation. This is a rich cream that I enjoy using at night.
This is the weaker form of estrogen (estriol) that helps to keep the skin firm and treat skin thinning that often comes with hormone depletion. I use this at night as a moisturizer.
Vitmain C is one of the most important and well proven topicals we can use in our skincare routine as a potent antioxicant, brightener, and provides protection against sun damage.
Chemical exfoliants like Glycolic acid help to rejuvenate skin through exfoliation. As we age our skin does not rejuvenate or “turn over” as quickly leading to dull and textured looking skin. Exfoliation also helps the pores look more refined.
We often forget about using exfoliant on our body. This glycolic body cream is one of my favorites. It’s hydrating and cost effective.
